I found it in a barn by twin bridges near Wyandotte, Oklahoma on February 18th
Bought it for $1400 cash along with new front fenders, rear quarters, stone deflector, valance and hood!
Turned out that the issue they were having with it was that the in tank fuel filter 'sock' had deteriated and had been sucked into the sending unit...
2 days later we had the 289 CID V8 running like a champ...just a couple of leaks...freeze plugs rusted out and a fuel leak at the accelerator pump gasket
Odometer reads 94423 and it was parked in early 1990 after hitting a tree in front end which bent the subframe fender and hood, pushing the cooling fan into the radiator...and cracked the windshield with their head
Dropped gas tank to clean pickup tube which was clogged by the fuel sock.
Fuel leaks are fixed.
Most of the Stang is now primed for paint and ready to go to the body shop.
