2005 GT ... North Dakota winters makes driving season short, but what little time we have for exercising her makes it all worth it! My goal with this car was to keep it clean, maintain everyday driveability, and stay true to the heritage and lines and signature styling of 68-69-70 Mustang fastbacks.
Dyno-tested @ 387 RWHP. No drag strip within days drive to test 1/4 mile.
Lowered 1.6" with H&R Super Sport coils, Roush Performance struts and shocks, Roush swaybar, Steeda bumpsteer kit, Maximum Motorsports adjustable caster/camber plates, Granatelli Motorsports cold air intake with tuned MAF, 62mm throttle body, Cervinis Type II chin spoiler, Corsa performance cat-back exhaust with 4" tapered tips, Corsa X-pipe to replace factory H pipe, sequential tailights, Silverhorse Racing flush mount louvers (replaces factory rear side window glass), GT500-style flush-mount rear spoiler; shorty antenna, Steeda short-throw shifter, Roush shift knob, Roush billet racing pedals and dead pedal, staggered 20-inch Raceline GT238 2-piece forged wheels with 3-bar knockoffs (20x9.5 front, 20x10.5 rear on Toyo Proxes T1R's). Steeda HID headlights next; maybe Kenne Bell, Whipple, Paxton, or ProCharger supercharger and 6-speed tranny with new rear-ends and balanced driveshaft next? $$ and time will tell.
