I got a 2003 SVT COBRA #3801. I picked it up stock (besides the stripes and the Eibach Sport Springs) in April of 2008 and since then its been nothing but upgrades. I've added FR500 replica wheels, MGW Shifter, Billetflow 2.9 S/C pulley, Bassani Cat back w/ 4" tips w/ baffles removed, Metco Aux Idler Pulleys, and JLT True CAI for the go parts. I had all the work done at JBA in San Diego where they tuned it on 91 octane with a SCT XCalibator 2. With these parts it made 434 rwhp and 472 rwtq and ran 8.15s at Barona Dragway (1/8th mile in the middle of the desert). In Alabama on 93 octane and a perfect night in October I got her to run a 7.86 in the 1/8th. Since then I have added Maximum Motorsports Caster/Camber Plates, Aeroforce Interceptor Gauges (2) in a Speed of Sound Gauge Pillar, Raptor Performance Shift Light, Hawk Brake Pads, Sirius Sportsman 5 Satellite Radio. Now that I have moved to South Carolina I have started accumulating more parts to include: Mac 1 5/8" Long Tube Headers, Lethal Performance Off-road X Pipe, Billetflow Differential Brace. Saving up right now for a new clutch, gears, ignition upgrades and fuel system upgrades. As soon as I get these parts I will start looking for another place to tune it but haven't been able to find any good tuners in the Charleston area. If anybody knows any good shops aroung the Charleston, SC area please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.
UPDATE: Just got back from Arm Drop Live at Darlington Dragway in South Carolina. For you that don't know Arm Drop Live is just like Pinks Allout but the pot is smaller and they pick more groups of cars but Rich Christensen is still there. I ran in the 12.0 class and actually got picked to run in the final 16 cars out of a total of 140 cars. Our group was with in 2 tenths at around 12.2. I was the only one that was on street tires and the only one that drove thier car through the gate in my class, not to mention I drove it 130 miles to the track, raced all day, and drove 130 miles back home that night. Who says you need a tow vehicle or a caged, tubbed out drag car to do good. Too bad I didn't win it but I lost in the second round to a guy by a foot was the track champion in bracket racing and went on the win the whole thing.
